Steel Strike threat in India

An odd story this, if I am reading it correctly. According to the Pioneer News Service, a group of Indian Steel executives have decided to go on an indefinite hunger strike at SAIL’s corporate headquarters. the full story can be seen here.

I was working at British Steel during the National Steel Strike which lasted three months from December 1979. It would not have lasted much more than 24 hours had it been a “hunger” strike, as most of the steelworkers I knew were fond of their “snap”!
