Whilst here at BSS we sell mainly classical narrow cold rolled strip, we also supply cold reduced (ex wide mill coil) and hot rolled steel strip from wide slit source and from narrow mills.
It can quickly become confusing what tolerances on dimensions apply to each product, particularly on thickness. I have therefore posted a couple of new pages on our main website, showing the standard gauge tolerances against the most common standards that we offer, mainly EN10140 and EN10048 for narrow steel strip and EN 10131and EN10051 for wide steel strip. I will add more standards and “tidy up” the pages when I can find time. The pages can be accessed here and here.
