After considering a number of options, Corus has reached agreement with Knight Strip Metals to process and distribute their mild steel plated products produced at their US subsidiary. The strip is manufactured at the Apollo Metals plant in Bethlehem, Pensylvania, which produces high quality mirror finish steel and non ferrous electroplated strip.
Knight Strip Metals has plants at Potters Bar and Saltley (following the aquisition of Charles Harbage). Corus announced the closure of Plated Strip International, which was it’s UK based manufacturing unit at Tysley, Birmingham last year.
