AK Steel announce strip price increase

AK Steel announced that it would increase transaction prices for all stainless hot- rolled sheet and strip and continuous mill plate products by about 10% with effect from September 3. The company said that its published stainless product surcharges remain in effect. The increase in price would be accomplished through a five percentage point reduction in the functional discount rate.
